Peace within the noise

I visited your church this morning and had an experience that I thought you might find intriguing – or intriguing that I find it intriguing. Given the unexpected lateness of the service, I sat in the back so I could make my exit promptly. I soon found that I was sitting in the "nursery section", so to speak, with several whining babies nearby. Now if this were to happen in a restaurant, theater, or another church my impulse would be to turn around and say "Can you possibly keep your kid quiet?" To my surprise, I felt none of that in your church. Not only that, but it didn’t even occur to me that I ought to be feeling that until about half way through. I don’t think it was simply because there was also noise coming from the adults either. It was more that, counterintuitively, there was a peace within the noise. I was not touched by God, nor did I expect to be. But I was touched by peace, and for that I thank you.

Section 3 gathering

Have missed ya'll so much cant wait to see you tomorrow on Friday for the section 3 gathereing with Brother Blandin. Hope to see most of you there. Dont forget to invite all your friends and family. I JUST WANTED TO TELL THE CHURCH THANK YOU FOR THE MANY PRAYER'S FOR MY FAMILY AND MYSELF.BEFORE I STARTED COMING TO THE TOWER OF PENTECOST. I WAS SO LOST AND HOPELESS.I KNOW FROM MY PRAYER'S AND YOUR'S GOD HAS BLESSED ME SO MUCH!! THE CHURCH FEEL'S LIKE MY FAMILY AND YOU ALL MAKE ME FEEL AT HOME. THE WARMTH AND LOVE JUST CONSUMES ME ALONG WITH GOD'S SWEET LOVE. PRAISE GOD AND BLESS YOU ALL. MAYBE PASTER KNOWLES CAN TEACH ME TO SPELL TOO!!! BRO. TIM

WOW !!! WOW!! Tell me this is the church I visited in May and June of this year?

I was able to see for the first time some of the pictures of the progress that's been made since I was there. The Tower of Pentecost church is really Rockin and a Rollin. It is amazing to see what can be done when you have a Church that Prays together, Works together and LOVES one another the way that I felt loved when I was there. Now I have 4 reasons for coming back in 2009. # 1, To visit my Son and his family. #2 To attend the Ladies Retreat again ( so sign me up Ladies.) #3, to see all my friends that I have missed so much, and last but not least, #4 is to attend the Tower of Pentecost Church and go inside the new Sunday school wing addition. I love the website because it was so inviting and I really enjoyed looking at all the photo's because it brought back so many good memories. Prayer are awesome,Luis Sanchez is my nephew and it's good that our family is coming to Christ. I live in Moses Lake,Wa. It was awesome to see the pictures and most of all that the Lord is living in him. I praise the the Lord that we have recieved the Holy Sprit.
